Baking Soda Deodorant is not for everyone, maybe not for the majority of people. But my baking soda deodorant was a miracle for me and changed my life. If you don’t know what it is like to worry every day about how you smell under your arms, you don’t need a baking soda deodorant and I recommend trying my Mineral Roll-On Deodorant instead. You should consider trying baking soda based deodorant if you;

  1. Would not wear the same shirt a second time

    1. A change of clothing, especially shirts and blouses
    2. A washcloth or wetnaps
    3. Extra deodorant
  3. Decline invitations’ and miss social events because you are concerned about the way your underarms smell.
  4. Spend a lot more money than most people on
    1. Extra Clothes
    2. Dry Cleaning
  5. Avoid white shirts because they stain too quickly under your arms?
  6. Do way more laundry than most people.

HOW DOES BAKING SODA DEODORANT WORK

It is the ALKALINITY of Baking Soda and not ABSORPTION that makes Baking Soda so powerful. It’s a misconception that we use baking soda under our arms because it absorbs odors. Lots of things absorb better than baking soda. The reason Baking Soda works so well in your fridge and under your arms is that it is alkaline. A lot of the bad-smelling things (in your fridge and under your arms) are acidic or love an acidic environment. Baking Soda makes odor causing bacteria unhappy.

Everyone’s sweat is somewhat acidic. However, some people’s sweat is much more acidic and some people sweat a lot more than others. Sometimes, the acidity of our sweat fluctuates as does the amount we sweat. The more acidic we are under the arms, the more we smell.

Baking Soda creates an inhospitable environment for acid-loving bacteria. The acid reacts to alkaline and is neutralized. When we put baking soda under our arms, we make the underarms too alkaline for acidic bacteria to thrive. It is an incredibly effective and simple solution.

DRAWBACKS TO USING A BAKING SODA DEODORANT

Baking Soda is a strong alkaline. We use it to neutralize the acidity of your perspiration. However, some people aren’t acidic enough or don’t sweat enough to use it. Other people use more than they need or use it more often than they need. If this happens, some people react.

Baking Soda deodorant should be used by people who need it and are willing to pay attention to the way their body reacts to the baking soda and are willing to experiment with when to wear it and how much to apply.

How Do You Know if You Need a Baking Soda Deodorant?

If you suffer from body odor, you might want to try it. But be aware that when I write “suffer from body odor” I am aware that this is subjective. I sell samples of my lotion deodorant for almost nothing for you to try it out and see if it might be the miracle that I found it to be.

I’ve written a few suggestions on making a baking soda deodorant work for you here.
