Yes, you can smell the apple cider vinegar but it’s really great for the pH of hair and doesn’t bother me one bit. Lovely conditioner! Definitely helped moisturize hair and detangle. I think this will work well for me in winter. Just the slightest bit heavy for my very fine hair in the humid summer but definitely doesn’t leave a heavy residue by any means.

On my 1st purchase I got the smaller one, I wanted to give it a try. I tried both ways as a leave in or wash out conditioner. I will say this try both and whichever works for you, you will not be disappointed. I opted to go with wash out. The smell at first may seem a bit much but honestly in a few days you get use to it and now I love the smell. I use the Yucca shampoo 1st and finish with this in the shower.
