APPLE CIDER VINEGAR LOTION
Sometimes all things come together in something really cool like the first time I got it into my head to try to make a lotion using apple cider vinegar instead of water.
Apple Cider Vinegar is thought to help eczema, dermatitis, irritations, itchy skin, rosacea and tinea funguses. It is excellent for people who work with alkaline substances like drywall, cement and clay or in alkaline environments. Wonderful for gardeners working in alkaline soil. Great for many people living in desert environments. Good for chefs or people wanting to avoid smell on their hands from fish, onions or garlic. Helps takes some of the itch out of ant bites and mosquito bites. Soothing for people who have a sunburn. A great lotion for those with body acne. The perfect lotion to take to a dry lake bed or going to “Burning Man”.
Works great to neutralize baking soda deodorant at the end of the day.
While it goes on it smells like Vinegar a bit but that quickly fades. It is followed by a lovely tangy lemon apple scent.
_Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Sunflower Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Neem Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Emulsifying Was N.F., Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Lactate, Cocoa Butter, Essential Oil Blend of_ Lemongrass, Lavender, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Oregano, Fragrance (phthalate free) , Allantoin, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Optiphen Plus (a paraben and formaldehyde free preservation system), and Vit E.
This lotion is the result of wanting to make an ACV Lotion for a number of years for my own personal use. Mainly I wanted it for my yearly trek to the Art Festival Burning Man that takes place in an Alkaline dry lake bed. This ACV lotion would protect my skin and act as a Ph balancer as well as moisturize and heal my skin from heat, wind and dust damage.
This lotion worked so much better than I could have imagined. It feels great on my skin and seems to make my skin happy in the very difficult environmental challenges. I believe it can also help other people struggling with skin conditions and people who are seeking ways to reduce their exposure to preservatives while still using moisturizing lotions.
I encourage you to try it.
