FOOT RESCUE FOOT LOTION for Cracked Heels

(5 customer reviews)

Our poor feet. They sweat, they get stuffed into boots or shoes, then they’re expected to adjust to sandles and being bare. They get too wet, they get too dry, they crack and fungus and bacteria gets into the cracks. Then we wonder why they won’t heal? They will heal but they need a lotion that stays in place with socks or leather. The need a lotion taht will fight the bacteria and fungus that keeps cracking feet from healing. That’s why I make (and use) my Foot Mender!

MENDING LOTION FOR DRY CRACKED FEET AND HEELS

This thick ointment stays in place, moisturizing, protecting and healing dry feet and cracking heels.

The trick to healing feet is to provide enough moisture, protection and healing ingredients as possible without being too greasy. My the healing foot lotion is made of drier oils that stay in place so they can do their healing work. I think I’ve created a perfect combination of foot healing oils that will protect, heal and moisturize your feet for 12 to 24 hours.

INGREDIENTS: Aloe Juice, Babassu Butter, Neem Oil, Lanolin, Shea Butter, Rice Bran Oil, _Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Glycerin, E-Wax NF, Cocoa Butter, Castor Oil, Sodium Lactate, Stearic Acid, Zinc Oxide, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Jojoba Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Magnesium Chloride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Red Raspberry Oil, Allantoin, Frankincense Essential Oil, DL Panthenol, Essential Oil blend of_ Turmeric, Carrot Seed, Myrrh, Tea Tree Oil, Peppermint, Oregano & Cypress, Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (preservative system), and Vit, E

The magic starts with a combination of Babassu, Neem and Lanolin with moisture and healing starting with Aloe Vera Juice.

ALOE VERA is, of course, used around the world to help heal skin, probably due to its high level of natural allantoin.

BABASSU BUTTER is a uniquely dry butter with excellent moisturizing and protecting properties without making feet uncomfortably slippery.

Adding NEEM OIL to this base makes healing very fast, important for those prone to cracking heels or those who already have painful cracks in their heels. Neem is an extraordinary oil that works as a very active antibacterial, allowing open skin to heal much faster than if left alone.

LANOLIN works with the other ingredients by helping to seal in moisture and protect feet but allow healing essential oils to penetrate skin and stay in place.

SHEA BUTTER is from Western Africa and has been traded asa valuable method to heal skin for centuries. The high levels of triterpene reduces skin inflammation and lupeol is said to protect skin proteins

RICE BRAN OIL contains high levels of the antioxidants oryzanol, and squalene which keeps skin soft and supple.

BEHENTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE (BTMS) is an emulsifier and skin conditioner. Despite its name, Behentrimonium Methosulfate is considered a very safe emulsifier that not only helps bring moisture to the party but contributes to skin conditioning as well.

GLYCERIN AND SODIUM LACTATE: Both of these are natural ingredients are water soluble and provide lasting moisture to skin. They keep skin supple by attracting moisture to the skin for much longer than plain water can.

COCOA BUTTER
Studies reveal that the oil and butter from cocoa beans helps skin by providing antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components that heal and protect. Rich in flavonoids and phenols contribute to the reason cocoa butter has been used throughout history to help and heal troubled skin

CASTOR OIL
A unique, thick oil used in many many old fashioned remedies for relieving pain and reducing inflammation. Castor Oil is made from the Castor Bean. It softens skin and keeps crack from occurring or worsening.

ZINC OXIDE
This fascinating ingredients, used on many babies bottoms is very helpful in wound healing and yet remains underutilized according to Dr. Jonathan Moore, Podiatrist. My overly simplified explanation is that we store 20 of zinc in our skin so it can be available for wound healing. When skin is damaged, the healing process demands more zinc and it appears that topical application of zinc is the most efficient way of delivering the zinc to healing skin, making the process faster. COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil’s high level of medium-chain fatty acid constituents create an environment protected from bacterias, funguses and viruses.

SEA BUCKTHORN OIL
Showed in studies to possess significant wound healing activity and in fact worked better than the routinely used topical antibiotic (silver sulfadiazine)
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19425187

JOJOBA OIL
This precious oil is very much like skin’s natural oil and is a wonderful skin protector and antioxidant.

E-WAX
An extremely stable emulsifier and allows us to bring water into our oil and butter. Oils and butters alone aren’t actually able to moisturize, rather they seal moisture in. Using e-wax allows me to provide the moisture cracking skin requires. I

STEARIC ACID
This saturated fatty acid is one of the most common fatty acids found in nature., it is lubricating and softening.

MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE
Also known as Magnesium Oil, this mineral helps keep cracked skin clean and encourage healing. I included it in my Foot Mender because it was found that Magnesium Chloride significantly lessened the severity of diabetic foot ulcers

PRESERVATIVE (a non-paraben preservative system) A small amount of preservative is necessary to make sure your skin is not exposed to unwanted microbes.

ALLANTOIN
A naturally occurring ingredient found in large amounts in comfrey, helps heal wounds.

TURMERIC
Turmeric has an ancient history as a wound healer. Turmeric contains a lot of a chemical called curcumin which is being studied for its possible anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

MYRRH
Myrrh, like Frankincense, is a traditional skin treatment to aid healing.

PALMAROSA
Floracopeia says that Palmarosa regulates skin moisture and oil production, offers cell renewal benefits, nourishes and restores skin health and is known for its ability to rejuvenate tired, sore feet.

PEPPERMINT
Peppermint essential oil helps cool the skin, making it feel less painful and raw.

TEA TREE
Tea Tree seems to have a strong ability to keep infection at bay, reduce itchiness of healing skin and increase skin health.

OREGANO
A powerful antimicrobial that will help any cracks in your skin heal faster.

VIT E.
A natural antioxidant which speeds healing of skin.

As a healthcare worker, this has been a great purchase for controlling the impacts of my job on my feet. Lovely thick texture, filled to the brim, and easy to keep in place on problem spots.

My feet have run overy 50,000 miles. I’m in my 60’s and the skin cells on our feet don’t turn over like they use too. There’s a name for it. And with hormonal changes that reflect in our feet…I have wrinkles on my feet. But let me tell you because of this Foot Mender Cream my size 10 feet are soft and smooth. I feel like I’m doing something for them by using this cream. It’s a lovely before bed ritual to put this cream on them. Zir Yab’s Body Brew you thrill me! Soothe me and heal me! Your products make this 63 year old feel like a Goddess!
