Description
This hand painted card is painted by me, Brenda. All have my initials on the back and are obviously hand painted. They are on painted on watercolor paper and have manually ripped edges. I fold, wet and rip each edge of the card for a more rustic, hadn done appearance. The painting are simple shapes, abstracts, patterns and flowers. All come enclosed in a plain colored envelope.
We’ll hand write a note inside if you provide the text and we’ll sign your name.
When you purchase a gift for someone and include this option, we can include a randomly selected hand painted original watercolor card with a handwritten note. (We can write it or better yet, if you provide a note, we’ll hand write it and sign your name.)
Why A Hand Painted Note is Lovely
In a world where it is so easy to create a absolutely perfect product, I believe some of us have a hunger for imperfect, handmade items that are obviously made by a person using time and care. Nothing says that like a handmade item like my hand painted cards.
With a Gift Certificate
You might chose to purchase a gift certificate from us because you aren’t sure what a person likes. The problem is, gift certificates can feel a bit impersonal. I thought that sending one by mail with a hand painted card will emphasize to the person you care. Instead of sending a gift certificate via email, if you purchase a card, we can mail the recipient:
- A paper copy of the gift certificate (it isn’t an actual card)
- A random hand painted watercolor card on watercolor paper that is 4.5″ tall and 2 3/4 wide with a handwritten note. (We can write it or better yet, if you provide a note, we’ll hand write it and sign your name.)
- Our business card and a flyer from our shop.
