LAVENDER AND LEMONGRASS LOTION BAR

Use this as the last step of showering for the easiest, most convenient, most economical and environmentally sound way to seal in moisture and protect your skin. Or put the bar under warm water and slide along your skin to protect and moisturize.

Reduce Packaging with this convenient lotion bar. You can also order it in a reusable tin. This Lotion Bar has a very light scent of Lavender and Lemongrass. Discerning noses will also be able to smell the scent of food grade cocoa butter. It completely moisturizes quickly and conveniently.

This 3 oz plus bar lasts a long time because a little goes a long way.

No water means this lotion is very eco-friendly, environmentally safe, natural and healthy because it needs no chemical emulsifiers, surfactants or preservatives while still giving you all or more of the the moisturizing and help you need to protect your skin from dry, cold winters or hot, sunny summers.

Traditional lotions contain from 60 to 80% water. That’s water that you can provide yourself without having to pay for it to be bottled, emulsified, preserved and shipped with your other beneficial lotion ingredients.

AND SO CONVENIENT!
I haven’t always put on lotion because I find it to be somewhat of a chore but not anymore. Now it is so easy and so much better for the environment with the low packaging and (nearly) chemical free formula. I do put in just a titch of cyclomethicone – a very light silicone to help the bar slide on your skin rather than sticking. (Health Canada concluded that cyclomethycaine is safe for humans and has low to no risk for environmental concern). In this bar, I do supplement the Essential Oils with a phthalate free sandalwood fragrance, as true sandalwood is both endangered and very expensive.

Beeswax, Mango Butter, Babassu Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Butter, Hemp Seed Oil, Fractionated Currant Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Jojoba Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Cyclomethicone, Essential Oils of Lemongrass and Lavender

COCOA BUTTER
Protective and moisture sealing, cocoa butter also contains cocoa polyphenols which benefit skin tone and elasticity. This is unrefined so maintains its top potential and a cocoa scent.
BEESWAX
Natural, unrefined beeswax is the super hero of skin protection, preventing irritation and encouraging healing far better than other oils or manmade waxes
BLACK CURRANT OIL
Rich in Omega-6 essential fatty acid GLA (gamma-linolenic acid C18:3n-6) and is also a good source of ALA (alpha-linolenic acid C18:3n-3) an Omega-3 essential fatty acid.
CASTOR OIL
This wonderful emollient also contains ricinoleic acid which may explain why castor oil works so well.
ORGANIC HEMP OIL
Hemp Seed oil is a rich and balanced source of omega-6 and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids .
MANGO BUTTER
This highly emollient butter is wonderful at building a protective skin barrier and healing properties according to studies without negative side effects
JOJOBA OIL
This oil is very close our skin’s natural moisturizing oils.
CYCLOMETHICONE
Many lotion bars are too tacky on skin. A small amount of this environmentally safe silicone adds to the glide in this bar.
