SUNSHINE LOTION BAR WITH NATURAL SUNBLOCK
This none greasy and long-lasting summertime lotion bar is perfect to pop in your bag for an outing to the beach, pool, or play. It coats your skin with rich but dry oils to protect skin from summer dryness and sun.
I put 10% non-nano Zinc Oxide and 1% non-nano Titanium Dioxide making this a perfect summertime lotion bar with natural sunblock.
I chose these high-end oils and waxes because of their reputation to protect and heal skin from the stresses of summer.
In a study done in Canada, Raspberry Seed Oil was found to be remarkably high in natural SPF characteristics as well as other benefits. Raspberry seed oil showed absorbance in the UV-B and UV-C ranges with the potential for use as a broad-spectrum UV protectant. The seed oil was also rich in tocopherols and fatty acids among other good things.
This stick will stay solid much like lip balm but don’t leave in direct sun. Keep in mind, all official sunblocks require rigorous laboratory testing to ensure your skin’s safety from harm. This lotion has not undergone this testing. Please use caution and awareness when exposing your skin to the sun.
I also make a non-comedogenic Sunflower Face Lotion with natural sunblock.

Love this sunscreen it just feels healthy. When applied and going swimming at the beach it stays on very well but make sure to reapply as all sunscreens tend to need reapplied after going in water for long periods of time. My new favorite sunscreen!

If you’ve used Brenda’s face cream, this sunshine lotion smells–and looks–quite similar, although it’s definitely a solid and not a cream. I love the scent, by the way. I used it today for the first time, since the sun finds me even on the porch. I’ll have to use this over multiple times and in different situations to gauge how well it works, but it glides on smoothly and blends in well. There is a bit of whiteness, but that’s to be expected with a product containing zinc. I also much prefer using a sunblock that contains all natural ingredients rather than one that has lord knows what in it. I don’t want my skin to be absorbing all kinds of odd chemicals!
