Mocha Soap Ingredients

Saponified Oils of Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Organic & Sustainable Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Organic Palm Kernel Oil, Beeswax, Mocha Fragrance, Real Coffee Grounds.

Why I Start with Olive Oil

Olive oil is one of my favorite soap-making ingredients. It’s conditioning, creamy, and wonderfully gentle, even on sensitive skin. While trendier oils may sound fancy, few deliver the same skin benefits and performance in a bar like this Mocha Soap.

Coconut Oil = Lather & Clean

To give this bar its lush bubbles and fresh-clean feel, I add coconut oil. It’s an excellent cleanser, but I always pair it carefully with gentler oils to make sure your skin stays nourished, never stripped.

The Importance of Sustainable Palm

I only use RSPO-certified sustainable and organic palm oil in my soaps. Palm oil gives bars like Mocha Soap their firmness, balance, and longevity. But that’s not the only reason I use it. I believe in supporting palm farmers who follow environmentally responsible practices.

Substituting palm with other oils often leads to more environmental harm. That’s why I choose to source from CFC Inc., an RSPO member and USDA Organic supplier.

Castor Oil = Creamy Lather

A little goes a long way. Castor oil is a miracle worker in soap, boosting lather and adding moisture with every wash. It’s one of the reasons Mocha Soap feels so rich and luxurious.

Why I Use Beeswax

Beeswax gives each bar a smooth glide, a longer life, and added creaminess. I try to source my beeswax from small, local beekeepers who care for their hives and treat their bees with love. Beekeeping plays a crucial role in our ecosystem, and supporting it helps us all.

Extra Touches & Natural Scent in my Mocha Soap

Each soap is crafted with care, and sometimes, a few extras. In this bar, I’ve added real coffee grounds for gentle exfoliation and mocha fragrance for that sweet, morning treat scent. While many of my soaps use essential oils, when I use fragrance, it’s always phthalate-free and personally tested. If it gives me a headache, it never makes it into your soap.
