I have very fair skin and am on medications that expressly limit sun exposure to 15 minutes per day. My face often burns from limited sun exposure coming through my car windows on my 10-15 minute drive to and from work. I was using cerave spf face lotion that always made my skin feel oily and is very impractical to reapply when necessary because it has to be rubbed in HARD to avoid a lot of white marks which was damaging to my sensitive skin. I now use the sunflower face lotion in the morning and have this for easy reapplication during the day and haven’t had issues with any burning, even if I forget to reapply. Neither the sunshine lotion stick or the sunflower face lotion feels heavy on my skin and results in a matte feel which is usually quite expensive to achieve in more standard sun protection products. Bottom line is that I’m thrilled with both products. I’m taking a trip to soon and I’m excited to see how these hold up for a bit longer in the sun!

Love this sunscreen it just feels healthy. When applied and going swimming at the beach it stays on very well but make sure to reapply as all sunscreens tend to need reapplied after going in water for long periods of time. My new favorite sunscreen!

If you’ve used Brenda’s face cream, this sunshine lotion smells–and looks–quite similar, although it’s definitely a solid and not a cream. I love the scent, by the way. I used it today for the first time, since the sun finds me even on the porch. I’ll have to use this over multiple times and in different situations to gauge how well it works, but it glides on smoothly and blends in well. There is a bit of whiteness, but that’s to be expected with a product containing zinc. I also much prefer using a sunblock that contains all natural ingredients rather than one that has lord knows what in it. I don’t want my skin to be absorbing all kinds of odd chemicals!
