This shampoo bar is long lasting, low packaging, sulfate free, silicone free, lye free, vegan and Ph balanced.
Yucca has been used by Native Americans to help hair grow and keep it healthy and beautiful. It is believed that some of the hair growth benefits of Yucca can be attributed to its anti-inflammatory benefits and its ability to keep the scalp healthy and free from fungal and bacterial infection.

I recommend you read Understanding Different Kinds of Soaps if you aren’t aware of the difference between a natural lye soap and shampoo and synthetic (syndet) soaps and shampoos. Knowing this makes it easier to figure out the best natural solution for your hair.
Made from all vegetable, renewable resources, and it is biodegradable. Baby soap uses this as its primary detergent.
Biodegradable. Made from plants. Great cleansing, very gentle, washes off easily.
This biodegradable detergent, made from coconuts, works great as a shampoo. It is mild, sudsy and works great with hard water. Adding it actually improves the first two detergents.
This ingredient is often referred to as BTMS and I imagine you can see why. Despite its scary name, but has a very safe and beneficial personality. Not only does it help combine the other ingredients, it is one heck of a great conditioner for hair (and skin). It is made from rapeseed but I wouldn’t call it natural. I would call it awesome because it is also the mildest detanglers out there. Some say it is a sulfate, some say it isn’t, some say it is technically a sulfate but has been rendered “safe”. It is considered biodegradable.
This easily biodegradable ingredient is a moisturizing alcohol and adds hardness to the bar as well.
I love this stuff and wish I could afford to put even more in this formula but OMG is it expensive. It is a wonderful hair cleanser in top-of-the-line- shampoos. It is biodegradable, made from vegetable sources and, interestingly, smells lovely.

The Yucca Oat Shampoo Bar (a repeat purchase of two pieces), followed by a swipe of the Abyssinian Oil Enriched Conditioner Bar, has been the answer to my over processed hair. It has restored softness and a healthy sheen to it. As with all Ziryab’s cosmetics I use, I can recommend unreservedly the Frankincense Soap and Body Butter, Foot Mender (a magical product!), and Strong Nail Serum. All habit forming.

Great stuff. At first I wondered because it doesn’t foam a lot, but don’t let it for you, it really works. I just wet the hair and run it through a few times. Don’t really scrub because I have long hair and that’s always turned out to be a disaster if I scrub hard, so I just rub it in and back. Rinse it off and then a few strokes of the conditioner. Leave it on while I wash the rest of me and then rinse everything. It’s amazing. Thank you Brenda for recommending these products to me as I am a new user, but I’m recommending it to everyone. The only problem I have with this stuff is wondering if the rest of everything Brenda sells is is amazing is there’s something better I can say then that I highly recommend it??? 🙂

I think I found my holy grail! I really enjoyed the other Yucca liquid shampoo but for my very fine hair this was a better match and leaves my hair full and lovely. Thank you Brenda for recommending this one for my hair! I do find I still need some type of conditioner/detangler to get knots out so I’m going to try the conditioner bar next and hope that helps detangle without weighing down my hair.
