I created Chafe Not Salve because I suffer from what some call “chub rub” (oh how I dislike that phrase). My thighs rub together, and once irritated, skin quickly becomes vulnerable to bacteria, yeast, or even viral outbreaks. This salve adds both glide and protection without harmful chemicals.

I am a long distance runner and have had issues with severe chafing and bleeding at the breast bone, collar bone and back at the clasp of my running bra. Especially when really hot and humid. A friend gave me a tin of this after a long hit humid run and was suffering. I applied it after a shower and it was so much better the next day. I apply it to these areas before my long runs and it really helps. Depending on the temperature and humidity I may have slight chafing but not to the point of bleeding and if I apply it after a shower, it is better the next day.
