Description
Rosemary Soap
Fresh • Grounding • Herbal
Clean, green, and naturally invigorating, Rosemary Soap is like a walk through a sun-warmed herb garden. Scented solely with pure rosemary essential oil and thoughtfully enhanced with rosemary powder, this bar is both crisp and woodsy, with an unexpectedly refreshing edge. As a result, it strikes a beautiful balance: bright enough to awaken the senses, yet calming enough to keep you grounded. Whether you’re starting your morning or winding down at night, it brings a breath of herbal clarity to your routine.
Made with a super-fatted blend of conditioning oils and beeswax, Rosemary Soap is creamy, gentle, and long-lasting. These bars typically weigh between 4.5 and 5oz and, like all handmade soap, will lose a bit of water as they cure, but not their longevity.

Rosemary Soap Ingredients
Saponified Oils of Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Organic & Sustainable Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Beeswax, Rosemary Powder, Rosemary Essential Oil.
Why I Start with Olive Oil
First and foremost, olive oil makes an incredibly gentle, creamy bar. It’s deeply conditioning and nourishes the skin with every wash. While there are trendier oils on the market, few deliver the same rich lather without softening the bar or inflating the price. That’s why I stick with olive oil. It keeps things simple, effective, and luxuriously grounded.
Coconut Oil = Big Lather, Clean Finish
To balance olive oil’s richness, I bring in coconut oil for its bubbly lather and strong cleansing power. However, too much of it can be drying. That’s why I carefully blend it with other oils, creating a wash that’s fluffy, satisfying, and still gentle on your skin.
The Real Story on Palm Oil
Palm oil is one of the most well-rounded soap-making oils. It gives the bar firmness, lather, and longevity—without making it too soft or drying. But I don’t use it just because it’s common or cost-effective.
I only use sustainable, organic palm oil from suppliers certified by the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil). I also make sure they’re USDA Organic.

The World Wildlife Fund supports RSPO-certified palm oil for its efficiency and environmental benefits. Using other oils often requires more land and more resources, not less.
Castor Oil = Lather Magic
Then there’s castor oil, my lather secret weapon. Even in small amounts, it creates a rich, creamy foam and adds conditioning that elevates the bar from good to great. It’s a quiet powerhouse I always include.
Why I Use Beeswax
To round things out, I add a bit of unrefined beeswax. It gives the soap a silky finish, helps it last longer, and enhances that luxurious glide across the skin.
I’ve tested vegan waxes, but they often rely on synthetic materials or fall short in texture. So whenever possible, I choose beeswax from small, local beekeepers who treat their hives with care. It’s a small step with a big impact, both for the soap and the ecosystem.
Scented by Nature
Finally, the scent. You won’t find any artificial fragrances here, just pure rosemary essential oil. Bright, herbal, and earthy, it smells like you’ve brushed past fresh rosemary in the garden. Clean and honest, just like the bar itself. If I do include a fragrance in any product, I test it personally. If it gives me a headache, it doesn’t go into anything I sell.

I feel in love with your Rosemary soap years ago on Etsy. Use it every time I shower. The Frankincense foot powder is another lifesaver I use to work bedside in the hospital. I have not found any other equivalent to your soaps at any farmers market or when trying another shop. So if it’s not broke, I won’t fix it. Lifetime customer

The rosemary soap is so exfoliating and smells so good. It’s like a sugar scrub made a baby with soap.
