Soap Gift Box for Men
A soap gift box for men is that difficult to find, under $30 dollar gift specially made for a man in your life whether it’s a male co-worker, your brother, husband, or Dad. Works great as the rare emergency gift for a male.
Enclosed are 4 soaps that our male customers like most including:
- Sandalwood Soap
- Pine Tar Soap
- Shaving Soap
- Pumice Soap
Sandalwood Soap:
While this is a gender-neutral soap, it is a favorite soap of men. Spicy and exotic, it is a clean smell for hands, face, or body. For more information, check out our Sandalwood Soap listing.
Pine Tar Soap:
Great for troubled skin. A versatile soap that works for hair, face, or body. It helps skin issues that men often experience including flakey scalp and helps ashy skin too. It reminds people of outdoor camping and campfires. For more information, check out our Pine Tar Soap listing.
Shaving Soap:
This offers men an opportunity to try a gentle, foamy soap with clay to act as a cushion for shaving. This is an inexpensive, eco-friendly alternative to expensive, environmentally problematic shaving creams. The smell of this is extremely light fennel and anise seed. For more information, check out our Shaving Soap listing.
Pumice Soap:
Perfect for messy jobs that require a bit more grit to clean off grease and dirt. Also great for rough spots on the body including feet. This has essential oils that are believed to fight bacteria and fungus too. For more information, check out our Pumice Soap listing.
All Soaps are made with Saponified Oils of Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sustainable Organic Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil, Castor Oil, and Beeswax. Individual soaps contain assorted herbs, essential oils, fragrance & colored micas
Soaps are hand-cut and soaps vary in weight. They also lose weight as they dry (if only that worked on me too!) I weighed 10 random soaps and they averaged over 5 oz each
Importance of Sustainable Palm Oil
The reason palm oils are so often found in soap is that they are such perfect oils for soap making, balancing all the qualities most people want in a soap without crazy high prices. But cost isn’t the reason I choose to use sustainable and organic palm oils. No matter the price, it would be very tough to find a better oil for soap.
In fact, it is difficult to find an oil that has less impact on the eco-system then palm oil – which isn’t to say the Palm Oil Industry doesn’t need vast improvement – it does. It has a long way to go but I believe it is on the path to improvement. That’s why I choose to pay more money to support palm growers who are members of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and who are certified organic. I worry that choosing to make soap using a more costly but inferior oil could potentially shift the problem to an industry that has even less oversight then the Palm Oil industry does.
I purchase my Palm products from this a company who is a listed member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) (https://rspo.org/members/2-0432-14-000-00/) and a certified supplier of organic oils (https://www.usda.gov/topics/organic).
The World Wildlife Fund supports this and asks us to support Palm Oil certified by the RSPO. They do not believe that substituting Organic and Sustainable Palm with other oils is good solution as Palm supplies more oil on less land while producing more benefit for the environment than other oils.
